7.4 Changing Shapes

As you design your slides, you may decide that the circle you drew might be better off as a rounded rectangle. You don't have to delete it; you can simply convert the circle to a rounded rectangle instead.

1. Create a new slide and delete all placeholders. Next, draw a circle then add some text to a text box as per the previous screenshot.

2. Select the circle and click on the Shape Format tab. In the Insert Shapes section of the ribbon bar, click the Edit Shape button. Now select Change Shape from the menu, and choose the rounded rectangle.
